The Yuba College Canvas LMS is provided as a supplemental tool. Students who are new to Canvas, or the online Learning Management Systems (LMS), are encouraged to review the material on the College Distance Education site.
To log into the Canvas LMS, navigate to the URL
Also, Canvas is available as an Android or Apple application. See your device online store download section, and search for 'Canvas'. However, I strongly recommend that you not attempt to complete Web design projects on any tablet or smart phone due to the poor user interface between an editor and browser. Also the mobile browsers are very difficult to debug source code in.
New students to Yuba College are encourage read about the official policy on student code of contact:
Midterm is on Monday, April 3rd, Final on Monday, May 22nd
Our course will conclude on Wednesday, May 24th. All required assignments, quizzes and discussions must submitted by Friday, May 126h, Noon PST
This class is three units. Please prepare to spend an average of 10 hours a week reviewing the materials and completing the required Web projects.
I encourage my students to use the Canvas Discussion boards to assist each other in general use of HTML and CSS elements. However, all assigned work must be completed individually.
Again, welcome to the class, and let's learn how to create Web projects together!
